Clean, accessible water helps children stay healthy, attend school and build a safer future.
There is nothing more essential to life than water. Without safe and accessible drinking water, families remain vulnerable to illness and children may miss school.
Access to clean water changes everything. It supports hygiene, health, education and livelihoods. Annsagar Foundation began its local water initiative after a child came running to ask for drinking water. A public water cooler was placed outside the Foundation, accompanied by a whiteboard carrying positive messages for passers-by.
